Mission/Vision

The mission of the Cincinnati House of Prayer is to create dynamic change in our world through prayer and worship.

From ancient times no one has heard, no one has listened, no eye has seen any God      except You, who acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him. (Isaiah 64:4)

The vision of the Cincinnati House of Prayer is to be a place of impact where people can engage their hearts fully in the presence of God through night and day prayer and worship for the purpose of revival in preparation for Jesus' return.

This vision is fueled by an understanding of five areas:

1. Intimate encounter with Jesus Christ that comes from life in the Word of God out of     which our prayers flow.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will         be done for you. (John 15:7 NAS)

2. A night and day pursuit of God, believing that prayer is not something you do for a     moment, but that it is a way of life for every believer.

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on          it day and night... (Joshua 1:8 NAS)

3. The combination of music and scripture-based prayer engages and affects the heart     in the corporate setting allowing the prayer room to flow in unity.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and                         admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with            grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Colossians 3:16 NKJ)

4. Recognition that the days are urgent and revival is needed as the stage is set for         Christ's return.

Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the              most of your time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16 NAS)

5. Impacting the region by helping to develop lives fully given to God in love, service     and the fasted lifestyle.

That out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power in your inner             being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith. And that you would be             rooted and grounded in love... (Ephesians 3:16-17)
