FAQs
1. Are you a church? We are a community of praying people from many different congregations. We are not looking for members to leave their churches to join us, rather we encourage people to REMAIN involved, and simply join us in praying without lessening their involvement at their church.
2. What is intercessory worship (Harp & Bowl)? It is a form of prayer that utilizes the mixing of worship and prayer as seen in Revelation 5:8: “….the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense which are the prayers of the saints.”
3. Where are you located? 22 Carnegie Way, West Chester, Ohio 45246
Take I-275 (east or west, depending on where you are) to the 747 exit (Tri-County Mall area). Go north on 747. Turn left onto Crescentville Rd., go over RR tracks, and go to the top of the hill. On the right side you will see an office complex with a sign for Union Circle Center. Continue straight past the front set of buildings, and turn right into the next drive marked Carnegie Way. Follow the drive to the second set of buildings (our sign is on the window). C-HOP is halfway down on the right, 22 Carnegie Way.
4. When do you meet? Various times throughout the week—check website calendar for time slots.
5. Are you associated with another ministry? Cincinnati House of Prayer is a prayer-focused ministry established here in Cincinnati, which is very grateful for the modeling and teaching that has come out of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri.
6. How are you funded? We are a 501-3c non-profit organization, governed by a board of directors. Funding is solely from the donations of those committed to seeing continuous prayer and worship established in our region.
7. Why "Night and Day" prayer? “When the son of man returns, will He find such faith on the earth?”(Luke 18:8)
At Cincinnati House of Prayer, we are trying, in the grace of God, to establish a place where prayer and worship continue non-stop. We are inviting any Christian fellowship in the Cincinnati area to partner in this effort. We desire to see a unified, citywide voice that reaches before God asking for His Kingdom and His will to come to this city and region. In so doing, the ”justice” promised in Luke 18 will be realized quickly.
8. How can I get involved? Stop by C-HOP and lets talk, or you can email at info@c-hop.org |
